The food at the hotel was extremely disappointing. When we finally did move rooms, the new room smelt awfully like drains to the point where you didn't even want to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sea view. It took 3 nights of sleeping in this room, and my partner hounding reception before we got a room that resembled a sea view. Our neighbours clearly were not enjoying their holiday as they argued every night, until early hours of the morning while smoking on the balcony that joined ours, drunken shouting and more arguing, keeping us awake every night. My partner returned to reception to question this - the receptionist told him there was nothing that could be done now.paint was peeling off the walls, tiles were cracked, the furniture was broken and wobbling when we touched it and the shower was a stained small tray on the floor with a curtain hung around it on a chain. to our dismay, when we opened the patio door all we were greeted with were the back of other rooms and some trees in a garden below. We had paid extra for a sea view room, and were excited, as our hotel room was located at the back of the hotel, and the highest point, so we were picturing a pretty good sea view when we opened that door. We finally found our room, after carrying our bags up two flights of steep tiled stairs. Your then handed a key and sent on your way through a maze of tiled stairs and steep hills. Check in is done through the use of your phone, after you've struggled to connect to the wifi. the other reviews are not lying! Its on a massive hill, where you have to walk 20 minutes down to get to the beach, then 20 minutes back up to get to the hotel!! We headed to reception keeping our minds open and not letting the first impression get to us. Its very rocky with minimal plants / greenery. a big car park, some off white buildings and a few flags. Warning - this is a long one! When we first pulled up to the hotel, we were a little underwhelmed by the initial appearance.
